Today 10th December 2018, Mia Dambach and Olivier Geissler represent the International Network of ISS at the UN Intergovernmental Conference to Adopt the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration.

For the last two years ISS and its partners in the Child Rights Initiative have been active to advocate for the respect of rights of children on the move. 

We support the message that the Global Compact on Migration aims first to ensure that migrants can enjoy human rights, as stressed by the UN SG Guterres said in his opening speech.

A child is a child first.
